Enter My Dreamscape
This little cat was my Bachelor animation back at RMIT University. By this point I has developed a distinct 2D look and wanted to see how far I could push my environments. This is where my love for environmental concept art took hold.
Lanterns
I wanted to see how far I could push the CC Sphere effect in After Effects and see how realistic I could make the oriental lanterns I came up with in easy steps such as applied texture and glow effects.
Snowfall
Snowfall was made to feature as wall decoration at a fundraiser dinner for Red Cross.
Pro Bono, of course.
Airport Commercials
This assignment was probably my favourite at school. The assignment was to make a kiosk sale animation in a digital tower format that was theoretically supposed to play at airports.
I went with a very stylistic 50's neon sign theme coupled with airplanes in the background landing in futuristic cities to both sell the food and the excitement of travelling.
Mansion
This clip was a collaboration between the animation line and the cinematography line at Norway's School of Creative Studies, also called Norges Kreative Høyskole. Their assigment featured classical vampires in a modern setting and we supplied small animated clips.
Kinetic Typography
This was my very first animation and I still feel great fondness for kinetic typography. In this assignment we paired 15 seconds of audio with moving text and I chose to go with plain colours and uppercase
letters to highten visibility in a very fastpaced, dynamic clip.
