I am a 31 year old woman from Oslo, Norway, in search of as much knowledge about the art world I can manage to get my very tiny
hands on.
All I ever really wanted to do with my art and animations has been to create the perfect world. As a result of that I usually bring in a lot of animistic and anthropomorphic themes. Ideas and concepts has always been my forte and I enjoy spewing them up on a canvas whenever possible.
My style entirely depends on the situation and the work, but left alone to my own devices I'm very partial to concept art. I’m heavily inspired by illusionist techniques, rough brushes, pixel-art, fantasy, sci-fi and extraterrestrial landscapes. The tools of trade are a harmonious mix
of Photoshop and After Effects.
Per today I have a Bachelor of Arts and Interactive Media, aquired at RMIT Melbourne in Australia. There I became a member of the Golden Key Honour Society.
In 2011 I won the "Gullspiren" (Golden Seed) prize at the Norwegian School of Creative Studies (NKH) for the best student work of the year in Motion Graphics.
NB: I recently changed my last name so some of these pictures, animations and graphics have different signatures.
